There is often availability to see Dr Watkin if you just turn up to the clinic, and she is always delighted to do her best to accommodate. However, if you can phone the clinic in advance, it is much easier.
Dr Watkin will always see urgent patients immediately and all sick children the same day. Obviously booked appointments are seen at their booked time and so walk-in patients might need to be a teeny bit patient.
Out-of-hours Access
Dr Sara Watkin lives permanently in Grand Cayman and only a short drive to the clinic. Whilst on island, Dr Watkin is permanently on call for deliveries and neonatal patients, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Emergency Care
For serious, life-threatening injuries that require immediate care, head straight to George Town Hospital (HSA) Accident & Emergency or dial 911.
Instances where you would require emergency care can include (not an exhaustive list):
- Difficulty breathing, severe asthma
- Chest pain
- Symptoms of stroke
- Head injury
- Fracture or broken bone
- Loss of consciousness
- Severe abdominal pain
