Formal Qualifications & Memberships

I was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery with Honours from Manchester University in United Kingdom in 1986 and then went on to obtain the following:

1989 Member Royal College of Physicians (UK) (MRCP)

1996 MD, Keele University (bloodflow in the preterm brain)

1994 Advanced Paediatric Life Support Instructor

1996 Fellow of Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health

1997 Newborn Life Support Instructor and Course Director

2016 Local (Cayman) Paediatric Advanced Life Support

2016 Local (Cayman) Neonatal Resuscitation Programme

I am also a Fellow and Founding Member of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in the UK.

Obviously, an important component of qualification is gaining clinical training for the right places. My training included a wide variety of some of the country’s most famous tertiary paediatric and neonatal institutions.

In the UK, I was granted 9 Award Points for services to my organisation and healthcare. This is the maximum than can be obtained under this specific scheme. Naturally, I am very proud of them.
